About Chundu Laboratories

Chundu Laboratories is an independent Indian AI lab building Jivra, a helpful AI assistant made only from open models and run on our own servers. The name Jivra comes from the idea of life and growth: an assistant that keeps learning, like a lotus rising from water.

What we make

• Jivra Chat: a general-purpose assistant for questions, writing, advice, explanations, maths and code.
• Images: pictures from text, with safety filters always on.
• Learn: free original guides on everyday topics like AI, online safety and money.
• A developer API with simple INR pricing.

What we believe

• Good AI help should be affordable for everyone in India, so there is always a free plan.
• Privacy matters: chats are not stored, and the tools themselves have no ads or trackers.
• Honesty: AI makes mistakes, and we say so clearly.

How Jivra improves

We fine-tune open models on carefully checked material and test every new version against held-out questions before it goes live. Only versions that score better are released.
